iMovie=Awesomeness

This week in INST 3500 we were introduced to iMovie. I am super stoked about this fact! I have always wanted to be able to make movies on Macs because my brother is very experienced with them and has made some sweet action movies so now he will have some competition! I lucked out and have a partner that's within my major so we can make an awesome movie about sewing, cooking, or any of that jolly stuff that our major covers!

As for my life outside of school, it is still dandy. It's stressful, but hey, who's life isn't stressful? I saw a friend I haven' t seen in forever who surprised me by yelling out my awesome nick-name while driving his/her vehicle! It made my day hahaha! You know who you are. It has been too long my friend, too long!

Blog 4. Yay.

So this week in lovely INST 3500 we did all sorts of joyous stuff in Photoshop. It was pretty interesting searching it and trying to figure out what in the heck I was doing. But hey, I think I did a pretty rockin invitation for not really knowing what I was doing!
It was a good week. A dang good week. Even this class was fun! haha. I mean it's always fun! Life is good. The end.

INST 3500- Week 3

This week in INST, our lecture was about how to navigate photoshop, and honestly I was a bit confused at times and lost but overall, it helped me gain some ground so that I can play around with it myself and have some fun with it. I missed our Wed. class due to a workshop but I am actually really looking forward to going back monday to learn more. My computer is currently starting to freeze...a reminder of why I like Mac's so much more!

As far as my life apart from school, I've had requests to update that fun stuff so here goes: I am still just working away at the good ole Valet and trying to sell my contract so sis and I can move in w/some family to save some mula. I am very, very ready for a change. Having roommates is over-rated haha. I should be getting a new niece this month which I am completely stoked for- props to Jared & Katie haha! I went to dinner with a past roommate tonight which completely rocked and made me realize that some roommates are so much better than others...no offense.. but hey- that's about it for the update right now- hope it was ooodles of fun to read- Auf Wiedersehen.

INST 3500- Blog #2

This week in class we were able to play around with iPhoto. I loved it. It took me a little time to get used to everything and I am no professional by any means, but I at least have somewhere to start and I'm super excited about finding my way around it more. The comic application was pretty sweet as well. I can have some major fun with that! As far as creating your own book in iPhoto, I was most excited to learn how to do that. My brother had made one before and I thought it was completely awesome and now I can make one for myself! I'm excited to see what we learn in INST 3500 this coming week- peace out ya'll.

INST 3500

So, after I had vowed that I didn't need a blog to let the world know of my life, I took a class this fine fall semester in which it requires me to restart my blog and post regularly. I might have acted annoyed at first, thinking to myself, "seriously?" But, I am secretly excited to be up and blogging again! The first two weeks of school has been interesting. I won't lie, I do not love all of my classes. INST 3500 is one of the few I am actually looking forward to. I get to learn how to better use a Mac, which has already won my heart, and become more proficient in its various programs. We have briefly gone over the use of technology in the classroom, talking about "Digital Natives and Immigrants". I find my self to be smack dab in the middle and that scares me- but hopefully through this class I should become better in the areas I lack! My favorite part of the class this week was taking pictures and learning how to save them in iPhoto and putting them on the desktop. I am very, very, excited to become better at editing and navigating around iPhoto as well as the rest of the programs throughout the semester. Well, here goes nothing!
