INST 3500

So this week we went over googledocs which was pretty awesome. I can see me really using this in the classroom in the future. I thought it was awesome that two people in entirely different places can collaborate on the same document. This has been one of my favorite things we've learned about in this class and I look forward to digging deeper into it. It's always nice to know a way to work on Word-type document when the computer you're on may not have it. Anywho, that's about it for this week, I was sick monday so that was exciting!

Sewing Machine Basics- INST 3500

Here is a happy video about a sewing machine. Enjoy! The process of making the video was...interesting! I had no idea what I was doing for a while but eventually I got the hang of things and enjoyed it more and more. It got less difficult as I went along. Something I would do differently would just to be better at the filming and familiarize myself with iMovie more. I would love to use it in my major, Family & Consumer Science Education as a resource. It'd be great for presentations. I liked this project!!!

INST 3500 iMovie cont.

So, this week in INST 3500, we really got started into iMovie which I think is pretty friggin' sweet. Ha, be warned, my video is no wonder of the world, but it's a start. There is still a lot to do but my dear friend Amy and I will give you one wicked-awesome video showing how to thread a sewing machine! Muhahaha.
